Blogging meets The Associated Press
Technorati announced yesterday that it has inked a deal with The Associated Press to connect bloggers with national newspapers. The deal will link blog posts to their referenced articles from the AP Custom News and display them on the sites of 440 national newspapers. The Washington Post and Newsweek already have similar deals with Technorati.
I’m really glad to see Technorati growing beyond the echochamber blogosphere. 53,651 is not a large enough number of people to cater to, as Scoble found out last week. THe import thing I think is that as long as guys like Thomas Hawk are bridging the gap to the 53,651 then at least there are examples to follow.
