Frank, the first step in your journey is to sit down at your Windows machine and go to http://zune.net to download and install the Zune software. Once that's installed on your machine, you can either sign up for a Zune Pass (which I recommend) or start ripping your CDs to your computer.

The last step, after you've got a bit of a music library, is to connect your Zune player to your machine and sync your music library onto your device. Good luck!

I bought a Zune 80gb from a Pawn shop for $129. I don't have a Zune card/ tag. I'm not real good with my PC, but is there a way to get a card to make it where I can load music, etc? I really need some help. Is it a real card or is it something inside the device? Please help me if you can. The device has music & 3 movies from the previous owner. Thanks for your time....

If any of you cats want to provide your Zune tag, I'll give it a whirl myself and see if I can't get it working.
