All Hail Adobe CS3
They’ve certainly outdone themselves this time. The new Adobe CS3 apps are live, and they would be available for preorder from Adobe, if their online store weren’t temporarily down (probably from overwhelming traffic). To give you some idea of where the price ceiling is, Amazon is listing the CS3 Master Collection for US$ 2473.99.
Sure the software revisions will be exciting and useful, but I just can’t get over how gorgeous the box art is. If Adobe sold each application with a large-format poster, I’d probably pay the extra and buy all of the pieces individually.

If you’ve seen the box art up close….
aweful.
I was wondering how long it would take to get the weigh-in.
When something is done well, they feel the need to completely change the image. I get it. The CS2 box art motif was simple and pretty and I think actually was a good representation of WHAT the suite could do to create a graphic. This just look like every other boring wallpaper on deviantart.com. Kids make better stuff between classes at their shitty high school library computer lab or whatever.
Just wait till you see it IRL.

Whoever complains about deviantart is a looser PERIOD. I have my id there and i learned a lot from that great community. some of the best xp-related boosts, designs and icons come from there. lightyears ahead vista. ppl at ms or maybe even yourself that follow and re-create and then critisize the scene (=gnome, aapl) are spongers in my eyes. i do not like spongers. they dont contribute, they take.

if you think the box-art of cs2 was great, you have seen Nothing -Another Period-
The so called kids in high school you refer to and obviously envy for their talent, are the ones who are the very essential core of the online graphic scene. I know a lot of them personally beeing one of them. So: to sum it up: From what i have been reading and watching at channel9 and here, i can tell: you are boring.
