The underwear paradox
I wore my favorite pair of undies today. They’re impossibly comfortable and flattering at the same time. However getting dressed at the gym tonight I was struck by a serious issue.
While my initial thought was to throw out all of my old collection (I can’t in good consience donate used underwear), I worry about losing this special experience. If all of my undies are like this don’t I then run the risk of losing this special feeling of wearing my ‘favourite pair’ once every month or so?
So the question then becomes do I attempt greatness by investing in a fleet of excellent undies, or do I simply allow this pair to maintain its superstar status?

Steve this is a problem that has haunted men for millennia. I hope that my story may help you make your decision.
Not to long ago my girlfriend moved in with me. Needless to say much of my “bachelor gear” found its way into the garbage. I didn’t mind because compromise is my middle name. As part of the great move in my lady friend decided that it was time for me to get some new undies. Unbeknownst to me she tossed all my old underwear and replaced them with new undies. Initially I was upset but after a few days I’m actually pretty happy with the new guys. Now I imagine the whole bunch of them fighting over who is going to be the new favorite.
Definitely span it out. I have 3 different types of “undies” and it’s nice to switch it up from time to time. See you in the hallways. :P
