On a school night?

In a rare turn of events, I’m up past two this morning. I had a most excellent dinner with Johnny tonight, where we traded counsel on a variety of manly pursuits. Musashi’s was class as always, and afterwards we walked up the street to this cafe, the name of which escapes me, that specializes in different types of hot chocolate. After the requisite couple hours of not-talking (playing on our computers) we walked home in the snow.

Ordinarily this sort of evening would have put me right out, but tonight was not an ordinary night. Through a combination of the ideas we traded over the table, as well as a possible altercation between the raw fish and cocoa in my stomach, I haven’t been ready for bed until now. I’ll wake up early enough tomorrow to hopefully confirm that the roads are utter nonsense, which will leave me with no alternative than to blog from bed.
