Errol Morris Interview

Errol Morris is rather radical. A documentary filmmaker, he is responsible for such films as A Brief History of Time, The Thin Blue Line, and recently The Fog of War. He also earned molto pop culture cred for directing the Apple ‘Switcher’ ads. In an interview with The Gothamist, Morris discusses his work with a new variety of Switcher ad; Republicans who are voting for John Kerry.

The Dude Snaps Shots

A sweet photo gallery of behind-the-scenes pictures taken by Jeff Bridges during the filming of his various works. The host site File Magazine is pretty awesome as well.

A Day In Santa Clara

My Favorite Store

There are many reasons to visit Santana Row. Some of these I have posted at my Flickr page. However, Japanese Weekend Maternity is clearly the most ridiculous place there.

Has anyone figured out why the fuck this place exists? Are a Japanese women really hoping to appear pregnant? What sort of people, while searching their closet for a theme in a Saturday night outfit, think Maternity.

When did the market decide that the appearance of being knocked-up is something young Nipponese girls desire?

Australian Woman is Total Slut

According to this story at New Scientist, Australian women are ridiculous. I choose to blame the diverse national background of criminal immigrants.

Gibson’s Back

Our man Neuromancer has returned! William Gibson has returned to his blog, “Because the United States currently has, as Jack Womack so succintly puts it, a president who makes Richard Nixon look like Abraham Lincoln.”

Gibson left the blogosphere about 13 months ago, leaving a significant hole in my daily reading.

I’m glad you’re back Mr. Bill, these days we need all the help we can get. Now if we can get some traction for a Johnny Mnemonic remake!
